Are you interested in seeing how you’re connected to other Campbells and documenting it for posterity?
Campbell genealogists have many places to discuss their history, but only one place to help build a common family tree.
- The Clan Campbell Society of North America (CCSNA) site provides a central point for all Campbell history.
- The Family Tree DNA (FTDNA) Campbell DNA Project is our Clan’s Y-DNA testing project. This project, one of the largest DNA surname projects in the world, was founded in 2002 and now includes DNA tests from over 2500 participants.
- Facebook Groups for Campbell Y-DNA Study and Campbell Ancestry (GEDmatch Project)
However, WikiTree is the place to build that common family tree. By combining documented genealogy with DNA evidence, WikiTree allows researchers to confirm, refine, and preserve Campbell family connections for future generations. So, we encourage everyone to join in and document their Campbell connections in WikiTree.
WikiTree is a collaborative "One World Tree": Unlike individual family trees, WikiTree aims to construct one massive, interconnected tree that everyone can contribute to.
DNA Integration: Users can connect their DNA test results to their profiles, which the site uses to find other potential blood relatives within the tree.
Ensure your Campbell ancestors are represented in WikiTree!
WikiTree is 100% free to use and setting up an account is easy.
After joining WikiTree and creating profiles connecting you to your Campbell ancestors where known, be sure to check out the Campbell Name Study on WikiTree to see if there are any research projects you may be interested in.
