The Clan Campbell Society (North America) aims to preserve, promote, and celebrate Clan Campbell and Scottish heritage, culture, DNA research, and genealogy while fostering a sense of community and kinship among Clan Campbell members in North America. The Clan Campbell Society (North America) focuses on researching Clan Campbell history, supporting the Chief of Clan Campbell, organizing gatherings, and maintaining historical information, and acting as a charitable organization to educate the public about Clan Campbell and the preservation of Scottish Cultural, Heritage and Traditions for this and future generations.
Long Term Goals
1. We will explore, document, preserve and share the history, heritage, and traditions of Clan Campbell.
2. We will extend a hand of friendship to Clan Campbell descendants, Sept descendants, and all who share our interest in the heritage of Clan Campbell.
3. We will share the heritage of Clan Campbell and endeavor to bring together those interested in this heritage through our growing membership, our presence at Scottish games and gatherings, our magazine "JOURNAL of the CLAN CAMPBELL SOCIETY (North America)", our website, and social media channels.
4. We will support Genealogical research and encourage DNA testing as it pertains to our shared Clan Campbell heritage.
5. We will promote goodwill by our support of Scottish heritage activities such as athletics, dancing, and music.
6. We will support other individuals and organizations who are independently advancing our goals.
7. We will connect and communicate with the broader Scottish community through groups such as the Council of Scottish Clans and Associations, other clan organizations, and local Scottish heritage groups.
8. We are committed to being fiscally responsible, broadening our base of support, and increasing our membership.
If these goals appeal to you and you believe in them as strongly as we do, we gladly offer to share our "Bond of Kinship". Nothing is as strong as the bond of family. We hope you will join us, take an active part in the Clan Campbell Society (North America), attend as many Highland games and gatherings as your time permits, and visit the society’s website frequently in order to stay connected.
